We collect user-provided inputs such as a coarse city, park, or ZIP context (not an exact street address), rucking preferences, and training context you choose to provide. You may optionally provide post-ruck check-in information such as effort (RPE), hotspot or pain severity, next-day recovery, and a short note. We do not require an account and do not collect account data.
Your inputs are used only to generate route candidates, conservative training plans, post-session adjustments, and (when you state a concrete equipment problem) gear comparisons. Check-in information is used to produce a conservative next step; it is not used to diagnose or build a health profile.
Route labels, training context, and optional check-in values are processed for the request and are not stored by ruck.it as a user profile. The Render service may maintain aggregate affiliate-redirect counters in memory, keyed to an allowlisted product, and those counters reset when the service restarts. Redirect logs do not include raw locations, health notes, training values, email addresses, or SKU values.
We use Umami Analytics to measure aggregate page views and selected interactions, such as route searches, plan generation, gear-category views, and affiliate-link clicks. Umami is configured without cookies or cross-site tracking. We send event names only; we do not send raw locations, addresses, health information, email addresses, or training form values to analytics.
Netlify Web Analytics may also be enabled for server-side pageview and visitor reporting. Analytics data is used for site operations and product improvement, not to identify individual visitors.

Because we do not maintain user profiles or raw analytics identifiers, there may be no personal account data to delete. You can still contact us with questions about data handling or to request review of information associated with your request.
